Risk factors

The section of the 10-K where a company lists what could seriously hurt its business, from competition to lawsuits to cyberattacks. Comparing it with last year's list shows which risks are new.

Simple example

Last year a company listed 40 risks. This year it lists 43: 4 are new, 1 was dropped, and the rest are unchanged or reworded.
